Howdy Stand serves Irish luck and Guinness on Kokusai Street

The highly successful concept of a genuine Irish pub Howdy now has a sister shop on Kokusai Street in the heart of Naha, Okinawa’s capital city.

With its dark wood paneling and Guinness on tap, the new pub welcomes customers to have a pint along with a plate of fish and chips or some other genuine Irish-style snack to the same Irish ambiance that has been its trademark at the first Howdy pub in Mihama.

Like its sister pub, Howdy Stand has Guinness and Kilkenny on tap and Orion for customers who prefer to stay local. A good selection of Irish and Japanese whiskies, cocktails, shots, and a reasonably priced snack food menu to accompany the drinks.

To celebrate the opening of the new pub, the proprietors offer a free drink or snack for any first-time visitor who registers as a friend on Howdy’s Line account. Ask the bartender for the list of the First-time Visit offers. In addition, all drinks are 20% off during Howdy’s Happy Hour that stretches from opening through 20:00 every day.
