Ie-jima Lily Festival 2026
Spring on Ie Island comes alive in a sea of white at the much-loved Ie-jima Lily Festival 2026. Held at the scenic Lily Field Park, this annual event celebrates the island’s signature blooms, over a million pure white lilies stretching across rolling hills with sweeping views of the East China Sea.
Set against the iconic silhouette of Mount Gusuku (locally known as “Tacchu”), the festival offers one of Okinawa’s most photogenic spring landscapes. Visitors can wander through fragrant flower fields, capture stunning photos, and enjoy the relaxed island vibe that hqas long made Ie Island a favorite local getaway.
The festival also features live performances, cultural entertainment, and a variety of food stalls serving local specialties. From casual bites to Okinawan comfort food, it’s the perfect way to enjoy the island’s flavors alongside its natural beauty.
Access is easy via ferry from Motobu Port, just a short ride from northern Okinawa and close to attractions like Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium—making it an ideal spring day trip.
