Mana Fes brings Tahiti to Chatan Sunset Beach

On Sunday, September 14, 2025, the Chatan’s Sunset Beach will come alive with the rhythms of Tahitian dance and island culture at Mana Fes 2025. Running from 11:00 to 19:00, this exciting one-day festival blends powerful performances, cultural storytelling, and family-friendly fun against the backdrop of Okinawa’s sparkling sea.

The highlight of the event is a stage production of Moana and the Legend of the Sea, brought to life by 50 Tahitian dancers from Manaura Dance Studio. With dazzling choreography, colorful costumes, and the beating pulse of Polynesian drums, the performance retells the epic journey of Moana and Maui in a breathtaking outdoor setting. Two shows will be held at 11:30 and 18:00, both free to attend.

Beyond the main stage, Mana Fes 2025 offers something for everyone. Visitors can browse a lively flea market with handmade goods and island-inspired items, enjoy kitchen car food stalls serving local and tropical flavors, and experience dynamic dance and fire shows that capture the spirit of Polynesia.

With free admission and open-air activities, Mana Fes 2025 is the perfect way to celebrate the island life in Okinawa, Tahitian energy, and the magic of the sea.
