This is an annual festival in Kadena Town, the birthplace of Noguni Sokan, known for introducing sweet potatoes to Okinawa and then Japan from China. The festival program is packed with fun events and entertainment, including the popular sweet potato collecting competition for kids, live performances and more for two full days. A fireworks display is also scheduled for both days.
