Urasoe City was the domain of King Eiso -- a king of Chuzan known as Tedako, or "Son of the Sun," from which the festival takes its name. Comprising the Urasoe Three Kings Festival, the Tedako Performing Arts Festival, the Tedako Haarii, a fireworks display and eisa shows by local youth teams, the festival offers two days of summer fun for everyone.
