In this second annual event sponsored by Animal Hospital 22 pets and their people will walk from Chatan Park to Mihama to raise awareness of their goal of zero dog and cat euthanasia by the year 2020. One hundred percent of participation fees will go toward the Animal Heartlink Project's construction of a large new animal shelter.

Pet participants must conform to the following guidelines:

• Vaccinated within the past year
• Not under medical treatment or sick
• Not aggressive toward other animals or humans
• Free of fleas and ticks

Registration is required for participation.
