Umikaji Terrace features more than 40 restaurants, cafés and shops. The low, white structures lined up in terraced rows each have a beautiful view of the sea for a distinctly Mediterranean flair. A private shuttle bus runs continuously between the center and the Akamine monorail station in Naha.
