This year, Chatan Seaport Carnival, one of the biggest festivals of Okinawa’s summer season, is held annually on Chatan’s Sunset Beach for two consecutive days.

As one would expect from a festival held on a beach, the program features plenty of fun in the water. Both days end with spectacular fireworks that usually surprise and delight visitors with something truly impressive and new.

Admission to the festival is free. Fireworks start at 20:00 on both days.
