Located 15 minutes on foot from Naha Airport, at the end of a pine tree-lined road, the beach offers a full day of fun with a variety of facilities, including beach volleyball and soccer areas, basketball courts and spacious playing fields.


Hate no Hama

Janado, Kumejima Town (Kume Island)

Stretching for seven kilometers offshore of Kume Island is a beautiful white sandbank called Hate no Hama, which has been featured in TV commercials and on posters. You can access Hate no Hama only by boat from Eef Beach (approximately 20 minutes).

This roadside station consists of four facilities, including a store selling locally produced vegetables, fruits and marine products, a souvenir and local products center and reasonable cafés and delis.

山の茶屋 楽水

This café is nestled on a mountain in Tamaki. The most popular menu item here is a healthy vegetarian set meal called the Rakusui set.


Miibaru Beach

On this shallow beach stretching over two kilometers, you can enjoy a glass-bottom boat, BBQ, sea kayaking and various marine activities. Many locals gather at the beach for clam digging at low tide.


Senaga Island

 Senaga Island is accessible via a bridge at the southern end of Naha Airport from where visitors can watch airplanes taking off and landing with a beautiful sunset in the background.

Hyakuna Beach

Hyakuna, Tamagusuku, Nanjo City

Hyakuna Beach is an east coast beach located in the southern part of the island. Hyakuna Beach and the adjacent Mibaru Beach together make up a two-kilometer-long expanse of white sand. Hyakuna Beach is considered a sacred place by the Okinawans, and it boasts a unique atmosphere.
