There are three distinct and interesting areas in the park. First, marvel at the most beautiful limestone cave in East Asia, Gyokusendo. Second, see an indigenous habu snake show at the Habu Museum Park. Third, make bingata textile and indigo dyed fabric inside an Okinawan house at the Ryukyu Kingdom Castle.

Okinawa Zoo & Museum is home to about 150 species, a total of more than 1,000 animals, including elephants and lions. The facility features a petting zoo, a merry-go-round, kids ride-on cars and a wonder museum with workshop exhibits and a hands-on experience corner for children.

The Valley of Gangala was created by limestone erosion hundreds of thousands of years ago. Live events and photo exhibitions take place at the adjoining Cave Café, which is the departure point for tours to the valley.

The Himeyuri Monument was constructed here in memory of the young girls and teachers who served as nurses for the Japanese Army and who lost their lives during the Battle of Okinawa. The Himeyuri Peace Museum displays a full-size replica of a bomb shelter, books of testimonials and portraits of the victims.

With the East China Sea and Ie Island in the background, Oki-chan Theater features dolphin performances by park idol Oki-chan and her friends. The show’s playful stars entertain audiences with their high jumps and dance routines. The theater is located just across from the aquarium building, surrounded by Dolphin Lagoon, the Sea Turtle Pool and the Manatee Pool.
